The United States this year is ranked 23rd, with a score of 69. That score is down from a recent high of 76 in 2015.

Notably, Transparency International noted Greece, Guyana and Estonia notably improved, while Canada (77, down from 81 in 2018), Nicaragua and Australia declined. These selected countries are compared to their scores in 2012, so it’s a little misleading (Australia has only declined from 79 to 77 since 2015, for example).
